ALNOOR DAWAKHANA HEALTH WITH HERBS The roots of “ALNOOR DAWAKHANA” go back to the partition era of Hindustan when Hakeem Haji Mushtaq Ahmad started his Matlab (clinic) in the Ambala city of Haryana state. Hakeem Sahib was also serving as the land revenue officer in those days but his passion for Hikmat (Unani medicine) urged him to learn about Hikmat. After getting certification in Hikmat from Hindustan’s recognized and authentic institute he started his clinic in 1916. After the partition of Hindustan Hakeem Sahib along with his family migrated to Pakistan and settled in District Vehari, Punjab. Besides continuing his job as a land revenue officer Hakeem Sahib also started a clinic with the name of “ALNOOR DAWAKHANA” in Vehari City.

Throughout his career as Hakeem he never got a single penny from any patient for the treatment which earned fame and good name for him among public. His main attention and aim was to serve the humanity at any cost and especially through free treatment. In 1978, he brought his son Mukhtar Ahmed into Hikmat who after Hakeem Sahib’s death in 1981 continued his clinic. Hakeem Mukhtar Ahmed was qualified in ‘Fazil E Tibb Wal Jarahat (FTJ)’ from Lahore. He was a businessman by profession which helped him to carry on his father’s tradition to treat patients without any charges. In 1997, Hakeem Mukhtar Ahmed migrated from Vehari to Rawalpindi and adopted Hikmat as profession and set up “ALNOOR DAWAKHANA” at Street 8 AL-Noor Colony Sector 3 K.R.L Road. It was Hakeem Mukhtar’s dream to establish “ALNOOR DAWAKHANA” as a company that can produce quality medicines after research for the better treatment of people. He could not fulfill his plans and dreams in his life and died in 2008 but he left behind his legacy in the shape of his son Hakeem Shahbaz Ali Rana- “Fazil E Tibb Wal Jarahat (FTJ)” Rawalpindi- who has been continuing his mission.
